Kristen R. McGrath is an international trade and litigation analyst at Picard Kentz & Rowe. Ms. McGrath’s activities are largely focused on the representation of domestic industries in trade disputes concerning unfairly-traded goods. She conducts quantitative and statistical analyses on international trade trends and pricing, establishing the basis for client positions in formal and informal proceedings before the U.S. Department of Agriculture, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, the U.S. Department of Commerce and the U.S. International Trade Commission.
Ms. McGrath also assists the International Arbitration practice with its representation of private companies and foreign governments in international disputes. Her research in this area is particularly focused on international politics and investment strategies in high-risk environments.
Prior to Picard Kentz & Rowe, Ms. McGrath served as an economic research assistant at Dewey & LeBoeuf LLP (formerly Dewey Ballantine) analyzing trade trends and import/export statistics for chief economists. Before entering private practice, she served as a program assistant in the East Asia Pacific region of the U.S. & Foreign Commercial Service at the U.S. Department of Commerce.
Ms. McGrath graduated with honors from the Elliott School of International Affairs with a degree in International Economics and Politics.
